BiographyHistory

Dr Irina Webster trained and worked as a doctor in Russia, graduating in 1993. She worked in the Women's and Children's Hosptial in St Petersburg from 1993 to 2000 and researched women's health issues, particularly eating disorders and infertility. Webster continued her employment as a doctor, working at The Canberra Hospital (2003-2007), after her arrival in Australia. Her first book, the biographical Mom, Please Help, was published in 2008 and became an international internet bestseller. Soon after this, Webster, left her job at the hospital and became a full-time writer.
