Benjamin Burgoyne Chapman was best known for his tireless support of European Jews. In his early adult years, Chapman was a Methodist missionary in China. Throughout his life he traveled widely, wrote against the Nazi program of genocide, and advocated for the establishment of a Jewish homeland in Palestine. His autobiography,
