Alexandra Freiman has worked as an actor, touring the country with the Bell Shakespeare Company. She has also performed her own work at the Tap Gallery, the Old Fitzroy Theatre, and the Melbourne Fringe Festival. Freiman has also been accepted into Columbia University's Creative Writing MFA.
