BiographyHistory

Nguyễn Văn Khậy spent his childhood in a rubber plantation called Krek in Cambodia where his parents worked. He graduated from the Technical College Phu Tho in Saigon and became Head of the Land Survey Department in Chuong Thien (now Hau Giang province)and also served in the Engineer Brigade of the Army of the Republic of Vietnam. He published two books: Kampuchea Trong Boi Canh Chien Tranh Dong Duong (Kampuchea in the Context of the Indochina War, 2003) and Vi Sao Vietnam Khong Doc Lap (Why Isn't Vietnam Independent, 2004) under his pseudonym, Le Dinh Mai.
