Kevin Klehr had a passion for writing since he was a child, but didn't take it seriously until mid-life. With Warren Brown, he produced a regular music program called The Rhythm Divine for Koori Radio (93.7 FM). He has been a guest at the Saints and Sinners Festival in New Orleans, speaking as one of the panellists about the romance genre, appeared during Melbourne's Midsumma Festival as part of an authors' reading night at Hares and Hyenas book store, and been a panellist during Melbourne's Queermance Festival.
