Barrie Hayne has a BA from The Univerity of Queensland (1956) and an AM PHD from Harvard (1964). At The Univerity of Queensland he co-edited Semper Floreat and played Bolingbroke in Eunice Hanger's production of Richard the Second. He was made Professor Emeritus of the University of Toronto, where he taught English and Cinema Studies, 1964-2002.
