BiographyHistory

A co-founder of The Shift Theatre with Carolyn Bock, Helen Hopkins's career as an actor and writer has encompassed both the theatre and film. her stage credits have included roles with the Melbourne Theatre Company, Hoy Polloy Theatre Company, La Mama, Australian Shakespeare Company, Auspicious Arts Projects, Te Dog Theatre, Essential Theatre and Performing Arts Projects. She has also appeared in lead roles in the films The Marey Project, Hamlet X, Ghost Paitings 1-4 and Sensitive New Age Killer (SNAK). Hopkins is also the author of several plays, notably The Women in Grey (with Carolyn Bock).
