Annika Glac arrived in Australia from Poland in her early teens and studied piano at the Victorian College of the Arts, Melbourne, Victoria. She later studied directing and choreography at Rusden College in Victoria. Glac wrote, produced and directed theatre projects and short films. She formed the Melbourne based company Glass Kingdom Films with Marcus Struzina.
