Thomas Saxon served at Gallipoli in World War I with the 21st Battalion AIF. He subsequently served in France. He contributed to
The Anzac Book (1916), where his name has been misspelled as 'I. A. Saxon' and 'T.A. Safon'.
Saxon was one of four brothers from the Victorian town of Euroa who served in the AIF during World War I. Joseph was killed in action in 1915, Bert died from wounds in 1918, whilst both Thomas and Frederick were severely wounded.
