The organising committee from the Western Australian Science Fiction Association also produced a souvenir book for the event, with the content comprising information about the convention and short stories, poetry etc. from the local sf community and guests.

Guests at Swanson 24 included Jack Dann, Sean Williams and Janny Wurts, with Ippongi Bang, Jeremy G. Byrne, Stephen Dedman, Paul Kidd, Kuni Kimura, Dave Luckett, Don Maitz, Grant Stone, Jonathan Strahan and Janeen Webb.
