It is unclear if the author of the works listed here is the British writer of Science Fiction, George Chetwynd Griffith-Jones (1857-1906), pictured here, who published as George Griffith. According to the website Victorian Secrets, Griffith spent some time in Australia in the early 1870s as a teen and again in 1899. Perhaps some connection led him to write a series of stories for the Queenslander.
