BiographyHistory

Alison Rooke is a graduate of the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) Playwrights Studio and has a Master of Arts in Creative Writing from the University of Technology, Sydney. During 2010, Rooke will be undertaking a Graduate Certificate in Screenwriting at the Australian Film, Television and Radio School (AFTRS).

2013 recipient Creative Industries Career Fund to undertake a two week dramaturgy mentorship with the Associate Program Director at the Lark Play Development Centre in New York, including participating as a dramaturg in the Playwrights Workshop and Studio Retreat programs, and undertaking a residency as guest playwright.
