BiographyHistory

Tasha Sudan comes from Ulladulla on the south coast of New South Wales. She spent four years in residential training at the

Zen Mountain Monastery in the Catskill mountains of upstate New York, which began as a Zen arts training centre. She has worked as a radio journalist and in screenwriting. She was a resident at Toshoji, a Soto Zen temple in the mountainous Okayama prefecture of central Japan, where she was ordained a monk in September 2010.
