BiographyHistory

Alberto Cáseres was an ex-priest, and a teacher of History and Philosophy in Uruguay. He lived in Australia from 1969 to 1988, at which time he returned to live in Montevideo. He made several trips back to Australia, from 2004 until his death in 2008 in Uruguay. Cáseres contributed to the Spanish-language magazine Versión and published a book of poems and short stories in 2007 titled Horas de ayer.
