BiographyHistory

Welshman Aneurin Bevan was a member of the British Parliament. He served as Minister for Health in the Clement Atlee government and was a long term campaigner on social justice issues. Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard (q.v.) nominated Bevan as one of her influences.
