BiographyHistory

The Desert Knowledge Cooperative Research Centre was a seven-year initiative (funded between 1 July 2003 and 30 June 2010) that focused on developing sustainable livelihoods for desert people; increasing the sustainability of remote desert communities; building thriving, self-sufficient desert economies based on unique desert knowledge; and increasing the social capital of desert people and their communities.
