BiographyHistory

Daniella Brodsky was born in Queens, New York. She lived in Brooklyn, Manhattan, Long Island, Las Vegas, London, Connecticut and Washington DC before moving to Australia. Brodsky gained a Bachelor of Arts from New York University and published her first novel, Diary of a Working Girl, in 2000. She also published The Velvet Rope Diaries, Princess of Park Avenue, Fear of Driving, the young adult novel One Trick Pony and the non-fiction title The Girl's Guide to New York Night Life prior to her arrival in Australia.

In addition to her fiction writing, Brodsky has worked as a journalist and her non-fiction work has been published in newspapers such as the the New York Times and the New York Post.
