BiographyHistory

'Mavis Bangguna is a senior Djinang woman whose country is Raminginni. Mavis is married to a traditional Njebbena landowner from Maningrida. She was born and educated in the bush and in an Australian school at Maningrida in the Northern Territory. She lives in Maningrida where she has worked at the school as an Assistant Teacher, focusing on caring for Aboriginal children.'
