BiographyHistory

Bill Bennell grew up in southwest Western Australia moving frequently with his parents in search of stable employment. Thoughout his life, Bennell has worked within a variety of professions: as a cooper, a pilot, wood machinist, drilling supervisor in the Middle East, plant operator, as a shire worker and as an Aboriginal community worker. Bennell has recorded his lifestory in the unpublished manuscript Bibbee's Son : Autobiography of William Alec Bennell.'
