Annabel Blay has worked in the book industry for two decades, including at Abbey's bookshop in Sydney, as the rights manager at HarperCollins Australia, as a freelance editor, and writing tutor. In 2016, she was the fourteenth Beatrice Davis Editorial Fellow. In 2018, she was Executive Senior Editor at Harlequin Australia.
