BiographyHistory

Hobbles Danayarri was a community leader belonging to the Mudburra people in the Northern Territory. Danayarri advocated social justice for Aboriginal people and worked towards improving relations between Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal Australians. As a community leader, Danayarri sought to maintain the culture of Aboriginal people in the Northern Territory amidst the influence of non-Aboriginal Australians.
