BiographyHistory

Colonel Edward Fox Angelo served in the Indian Army before marrying the daughter of Judge Alexander Fraser. On leaving India, he intended to take up farming in Tasmania, but instead settled in Western Australia. He became Commandant of Perth Barracks, Resident Magistrate in both Roebourne and Bunbury and was then placed in charged of the native prison on Rottnest Island.

In 1896, Angelo published the prose work Ephraim, or, The Present Locations of the Hebrew Tribles.
