BiographyHistory

Matchbox Pictures was established by award-winning producers Tony Ayres and Michael McMahon (Big and Little Films), Helen Bowden (Cicada Films), Penny Chapman (Chapman Pictures) and Helen Panckhurst (Panckhurst Productions) in 2008 as an umbrella rights, management and sales company. In 2010 Ayres and McMahon closed down their Big and Little Films operations to focus on Matchbox Pictures, which had by then become a media and development production company.
