BiographyHistory

Galiawa Nalanbayayaya Wurramarrba grew up on Bickerton Island with his parents and shared his memories of Macassan traders coming to the island in the book Groote Eylandt Memories. Wurrambarrba is a speaker of the Anindilyaugwa language. Galiawa is the husband of Didjidi Damamijema Wurragwagwa (q.v.).
