E.L. Wilson has written for the Australian Journal. An editor's note appears in the first story stating: 'All we can tell you about the author of this story is that his name isn't Wilson, and that he has never written for publication before. But for the last eight years he has been closely associated with aircraft and the men who fly them. His flying experience covers nearly 2000 hours, the last 1400 of which have been spent training instructors and pupils, and grading and testing pilots.' ( 1 March, 1943, p. 133)
