BiographyHistory

Marjorie Shaw came from a family of English, Scottish, Irish and Welsh descent who had lived in Australia since the late nineteenth century. She held book-keeping and secretarial positions including an administration job at the Presbyterian Ladies College in Melbourne. After retiring she concentrated on writing. In 1966 she compiled and wrote Our Goodly Heritage: History of Huntly Shire.
