BiographyHistory

Film director and writer Ben C. Lucas grew up with his family on a boat. He did not attend school in Australia until the age of thirteen when his parents settled on the New South Wales central coast. The traumatic adjustment to life at school inspired Lucas's film Wasted on the Young (2010).

Lucas, with Anthony Vercoe, won the 2005 ZTudio What If? Award for Best Unproduced Screeplay for 'All Flesh Must be Eaten: The Movie'.
