BiographyHistory

Originally from Vietnam, Như Tạng studied for seventeen years in Japan, from 1968 to 1983, earning a Doctorate of Philosophy in Political Science, before coming to Australia. Beginning in 1987, he has worked for the NSW State government and has also taught at the UNSW. He has written books on Japanese business and industrial management and Buddhist philosophy as well as collections of poetry in Vietnamese. These include 'Towards Motherland' (Tokyo 1978), 'Happiness from Now' (Tokyo 1982), 'The Steps of Time' (Tokyo 1984), 'Poems of Complete Love' (Sydney 1991), and 'Empathy Line' (Sydney 1996). These volumes of poetry have not yet been traced to any library catalogue.
