A dance theatre company established by Richard Allen and Karen Pearlman. The company, which specialises in creating dance, poetry, film and video works, was initially established in New York in 1985. Allen and Pearlman toured the company's productions throughout the U.S.A., England, Holland, and Australia during the late 1980s and early 1990s. They suspended the company's operations in 1989 after accepting the positions of co-artistic directors for TasDance (formerly the Tasmanian Dance Company). Allen and Pearlman subsequently set up Physical TV in 1997 after completing their engagement with TasDance.
