BiographyHistory

Pantera Press publishes fiction and non-fiction.

Pantera Press books were originally distributed by Simon & Schuster and then by Bloomsbury. In 2018, CEO Alison Green was joined by COO Lucy Barrett, formerly of Bloomsbury Australia.

In 2016, Pantera launched imprint Lost the Plot, which primarily publishes non-fiction.

In September 2024, it was announced that Hardie Grant has acquired Pantera Press, which it would operate as an imprint from its Sydney office in Ultimo. Pantera publishing director Lex Hirst remained in charge of the Pantera imprint, and Bloomsbury retained distribution.
