BiographyHistory

Arthur Polehampton was a young Oxford graduate who visited Australia in ca. 1852-1854. He later entered the Church of England and spent a number of years in India. He died at Pozzuoli, Italy in 1885.

Arthur Polehampton was the younger brother of Rev. Henry Stedman Polehampton (1824-1857), who died at the siege of Lucknow, during the Indian Rebellion of 1857.
