BiographyHistory

Woodley King was born at Mt Enid in an outcamp of Yaleen Station in the Pilbara of Western Australia. King was a respected Elder and storyteller belonging to the Yindjibarndi people and King fought unsuccessfully for the return of Yindjibarndi lands in the 1980s. Woodley King established the Yindjibarndi community Ngurrawaana.
