Renarta Prior belongs to the Birri-Gubba people of North Queensland. Renarta is the daughter of Peter Prior (q.v.) and she recorded his life story in the book Straight from the Yuduman's Mouth in 1989. Renarta Prior has worked as the coordinator of the Birri-Gubba Language Committee in order to preserve the language of the Birri-Gubba people.
