Neil Humphreys grew up on the Dagenham council estate in England. He moved to Singapore, as a young adult, for a decade before re-locating to Australia and settling in Geelong. Humphreys has written travel and other non-fiction books. His first work of fiction, Match Fixer was published in 2010.
