BiographyHistory

Over the years, Rebecca Bear-Wingfield has fought tirelessly to defend her traditional homelands from becoming nuclear waste dump. She has been involved with Kupa Piti Kungka Tjuta, a group formed by senior Kokatha, Antikarinya and Yankunytjatjara Aboriginal women to protect their homelands from environmental destruction so that their grandchildren can continue practicing culture.

Rebecca Bear-Wingfield was the project officer for a publication, Sharing Good Tucker Stories : A Guide for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Communities (1996).
