Robert Moss was a leader writer for the Canberra Times (1967-69) and for the Economist, London (1970-74). He was also editor of the Economist's 'Foreign Report' (1974-80) and syndicated columnist with the London Daily Telegraph. While in Canberra he was a lecturer in history at the Australian National University. Apart from being a successful novelist, Moss has written nonfiction studies of revolutionary struggles.
