BiographyHistory

Junette Mitchell is a senior member of the Paakantji people who has worked toward the preservation and management of the Willandra Lakes World Heritage Area in New South Wales. Mitchell is a spokesperson, representative and speaker of Paakantji. Mitchell has extensive knowledge of Paakantji bush foods, stories, medicines and other cultural knowledge.
