BiographyHistory

In 1825, William Bowman received a land grant on the Talbragar River, New South Wales. He added to his holdings through further leases and purchases. Bowman was an Elective Member of the first Legislative Council, June 1843 to December 1857, representing the Cumberland Boroughs (Towns of Richmond, Windsor, Campbelltown and Liverpool).
