Reg Moses was a Sydney journalist. He was educated at Fort Street High School and then the University of Sydney. He began working as a journalist at the
Sunday Times in 1911, and in following years worked at the
Referee and at the
Daily Telegraph. He then briefly worked as a publicity agent for J.C. Williamson, before joining
Smith's Weekly, where he worked throughout the 1920s and early 1930s, being appointed editor in 1932. He subsequently joined the staff of the
Australian Women's Weekly, and at the time of his death held an editorial position at the
Daily Telegraph. During the 1920s, his short stories appeared at intervals in
Smith's Weekly.
