BiographyHistory

British novelist in the social realism genre and editor and proprietor of several fiction magazines including Annie S Swan's Penny Weekly, Woman at Home, and Sunday Afternoon. Swan's novels and short stories were published and serialised in nineteenth-century Australian journals including the Australian Journal and the Town and Country Journal. Sister of Maggie Swan.
