BiographyHistory

Caterina Colomba has worked as a Research Assistant at the Universita del Salento, Leece, Italy. She has been the recipient of a number of awards, including the Australia-Europe scholarship. She holds two Masters of Arts degrees at Victoria University of Technology, Melbourne. In 2008 she was an Adjunct Research Fellow within the Australian Research Institute at Curtin University of Technology (Perth, Australia). She has published essays and articles on postcolonial studies, in particular on Australian literature and culture, and translated short-stories, Aboriginal myths and the treatise De Situ Iapygiae by Antonio Galateo De Ferrariis, Lecce e Terra d'Otranto La piu antica guida del Salento (EdiPan, 2004)
