BiographyHistory

Duncan Cameron was a Darling Downs journalist. He joined the Darling Downs Gazette in ca. 1860, and subsequently worked at The McIntyre Herald and Border Advertiser and Advocate, the Allora Guardian and the Stanthorpe Border Post, before returning to the Darling Downs Gazette where he remained until retirement in ca. 1920.

Later in his career, Cameron contributed articles to the Toowoomba Chronicle. In ca. 1910, under the name 'Ben Bolt', he wrote a series of articles for the Darling Downs Gazette on the early European settlement of the Darling Downs.
