BiographyHistory

The Pacific Film and Television Commission (PFTC) was established by the Queensland Government in 1991 in response to the growing needs of the Queensland film industry. The principal objectives of the Commission were to maximise the value of film, television and commercial production in Queensland and to assist in the further development of infrastructure to service production. The organisation's name was changed to Screen Queensland in November 2009.
