Neil Phillips has worked within the Department of Aboriginal Affairs, Aboriginal Legal Services, and Aboriginal Medical Service.
Phillips was born in Perth but raised in Perenjori. In between jobs Phillips supported himself working as a shearer and has advocated for the self determination of Aboriginal people.
