BiographyHistory

Anna Murdoch (née Torv) worked as a journalist in Sydney for the Daily Mirror and later for the Australian before marrying newspaper magnate, Rupert Murdoch in 1966. She has travelled extensively and lived in London and New York. In 1984 she completed a Masters degree at New York University, specialising in literature and mythology. Murdoch divorced Rupert in 1998 and married a New York financier, William Mann, in 1999.
