Nguyễn Đình Chiểu (1822-1888)was a poet well-known for his nationalist writings against French colonisation. Lê Ngọc Hân (1770-1789?) was a princess of the Le Dynasty, then became a queen of the Tay Son Dynasty. Their names were given to the two high schools in My Tho, Vietnam.
