BiographyHistory

Lesley Rosenthal was born of Russian Jewish heritage. She has worked as a secretary for Longman Cheshire publishers and at the United States Consulate in Melbourne. She has been a member of the Victorian Writers' Centre and has read her work at the Melbourne Fringe Festival (1992). Her articles have been published in The Sun, The Age, The Australian Jewish News, Australasian Travel Magazine, and The Australian Women's Weekly. She has also produced a video, Shmatte Mazel (2000), in which she interviews members of the Melbourne Jewish rag trade.
