Nancy Frith Nalyirri Nangari is a Gurindji woman. Her family were active participants in the Wave Hill Station protest. She was born on old Wave Hill Station and was working in the dining hall at the station at the time of the Gurindji walk-off. She has taught Gurindji language in schools.
