BiographyHistory

As a teenager, Philip Norton lived in Chicago where he first began writing poetry and participated in poetry 'slams', or live poetry competitions. He then lived in Japan for six years, where he lectured on Modern Poetry at the Kyoto University, before coming to Australia. He has published and performed his work in the three countries he has lived in. Living in Melbourne, he has been the Monash Student Association arts and media manager.
