BiographyHistory

Irene Ryder is a Gunggari Elder and writer that has been involved in a number of initiatives that promote the learning of Gunggari language and culture in Queensland. Irene is the daughter of George and Mabel Foster. She married Lindsay Ryder in 1965. Irene Ryder has cultural links to Ulidi, the carpet snake.
